Chairman's message
St George’s College has come of age. With the celebration of its 10th anniversary, the College now takes its place in the Port Elizabeth community as a strong and vibrant educational institution. Focusing on academic excellence, it has produced exceptional results over the past number of years. This is in no small measure due to the founding partners and the support of many wonderful people who have provided time and money to allow this school to grow to its full potential. With this in mind I wish to take this opportunity to thank all who have contributed to the success of this great endeavour, for their ability and willingness to impart knowledge and skills to create the future leaders of our country.
With the College now entering its next phase, and on the cusp of further development and growth, it remains dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence and the provision of the best skills to achieve this outcome. Whilst this remains the primary focus, the College also dedicates itself to providing pupils with a complete, all round education supported by culture, sport and technology in order to allow all pupils to achieve their full potential.
I am confident that both past and current pupils, teachers and parents will continue to support and guide the College into the future.
It is with pride and humility that I express my heartfelt congratulations to the College and all who have been part of her, past and present, on this wonderful achievement.
